The Luminescence Holiday Program is a five-day music and singing program for children aged 7–12, held during the school holidays in Canberra. Participants enjoy group singing, musical games, creative activities, and a final performance in a fun and supportive environment.
What ages can attend the holiday program?
The camp is designed for children aged 7–12 years. Activities are tailored to suit a range of ages and experience levels, ensuring that all participants can take part confidently.
Does my child need singing or music experience?
No. Children do not need any previous singing, choir, or music experience to participate. While learning, education, and activities will centre around music and the performing arts, the program welcomes beginners as well as children who already sing in school or community choirs.
Is this suitable for children who are not currently in a choir?
Absolutely! Many participants join because they enjoy singing and music but are not currently members of a choir. The program is designed to be accessible to all children who enjoy music.
Where is the holiday program held?
The program is held at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture in Barton, Canberra. The venue provides indoor and outdoor spaces for music-making, games, and creative activities.
What happens during a typical day?
