Luminescence is proud to be an artist-led company.

In her capacity as Artistic Director, AJ America provides executive, strategic, and operational leadership for Luminescence. Our unique model sees core artists take on part time-operational roles within the Luminescence, where their professional experience and skills align with the needs of the organisation. This model has helped ensure that as Luminescence grows, organisational interests, priorities and activities continue to centre artists themselves. It has also enabled key artists to devote time and energy, and the full scope of their unique skill sets to Luminescence’s activities.

In addition to the roles occupied by artists, Luminescence’s activities is ably supported by Hanna-Mari Latham and Amira Hibberd.
